ate Fish for 5 days

Four of us were backpacking in the Trinity wilderness we were awre of the bears in the area so hung our food securly in trees. While we were off fishing for the day, along came Mama bear her cub. Although Mama bear could not reach our food, the baby bear managed to climb the tree, slid down the rope and began bouncing on the pack until the roap broke and they feasted al ALL of our freezed dried food and even the cigars. Luckily mt hubby is an accomplishef fisherman, so we ate fish for 5 days and were able to even trade fish with others for REAL food. So always, always have a backup and team with the right skills for the job-
