Ireland

In 1979 an Irish friend of mine died suddenly. In 1980 I was in Galway, Ireland, looking for a pub with traditional music. I wandered in to the Cottage Bar and found several older gentlemen playing. When they took a break, I offered to buy them a round of Guinness. One of them came with me to the bar to help carry the glasses. While we waited, something compelled me to say "Something about you reminds of a friend who died last winter." "That's odd" he replied "a had a brother in California who died last winter. What was your friend's name?". I told him, and he said "Yes, that was my brother."
