Meteor Shower

Went on a 50 mile back trip in late July and got snowed in at Mt Lassen. We lost a day of hiking, so we had to make it up over the next few days because we were out in the middle of no where. After one day we were really tired so instead of pitching tents, we slept under the stars. In the middle of the night we were woken up by the. braying of a donkey. We looked up, and a huge meteor shower was in progress. Had we not camped out that night, and the donkey not woken us, we would have missed this great light show.
