Tow Truck Driver

When I was ten years old, my family was traveling in the backcountry of eastern Oregon. Our truck with camper broke down in a driving rainstorm.

This was before cell phomes, so my dad got out and walked toward the nearest town, leaviong my mom, younger brother, and me in the truck.

Thre hours later a tow truck pulled up. My dad emerged. Accompanied by the scariest looking, bad teeth, stinkiest and most disturbed looking man i'd ever seen.
He towed the truck into town and we got the repairs done (after two days), and everything was ok. But I'll never forget that tow truck driver.
