Who are U?

On the Greek Ilse of Korfu in 1980, it was known in the backpackers word of mouth that there was a mythical party beach to sleep!

Common knowledge the police swept the beach and olive grove at sunset to discourage overnight "squaters".

Scott, my male travel partner and I stayed out sight during the evening raid. Once the coast was clear, we staked out our camp site and pitched our tent. Our attention turned to a beach / Iuzo party.

In the morning, I woke to find an addtional female inhabitant between Scott and I, which I did not recognize. (Subsequently discovered Scott did know our newest friend) - we made a new travel friend for several Eurpean camp sites.
